10/21釉料課

開始上釉料課了
官老師遲到40分鐘 又在白板上寫了一大堆草書
不知道自己在學什麼...
不過看著一大堆化學式 心裡倒很開心
小時候最喜歡的就是理化課 如果腦還不太衰壞 希望可以順利學習啦!
因為要辦研習活動只好早退的我,沒記到多少筆記,只好請當天到場學習的同學們把筆記貼上來囉!請放在回應區裡,謝謝啦!

if最終設計稿:多孔隙感濕材料陶盆設計


"當盆體含有水份時 感濕材料會由白色變成透明
而顯露出盆體上的圖案或文字 也讓使用者可以明確分辨植物是否需要補充水份"

室內植栽可以美化生活的空間,同時也可讓人們在緊湊的生活步調中喘息轉化心情。但大多數的消費者都會遭遇到在忙碌之下疏漏了對植物照顧的困難,在過與不及的對待下而犧牲了植物。故在設計概念上,以多孔結構體配合感濕材料的使用,利用陶壁毛細孔所產生的毛細力,汲取底部密閉空間所儲存的水份以供土壤吸收,讓容器可有效均勻保濕,並大幅減少水份的蒸發散失。此外,本作品設計以水份變化所產生的不同表面圖像,來表現容器所含水份的狀態,以提醒使用者該對盆栽應有的照顧。

其特色:
1.密閉空間儲水,藉由多孔隙壁的毛細力提供土壤水份,不但可控制土壤的濕度,並避免蚊蟲滋生的困擾,並可大幅節省水份的散失。
2.感濕材料的運用,不需使用其它能源,藉由毛細作用產生的意象變化便可得知水份充足與否,是一種智慧型且具文化創意的植栽容器。

本作品以雲型做為表現多孔隙材質盆器自動供水,保濕並可長效儲水的功能特性,並以攝影用語「Magic Hour」這日光的餘輝夢幻般時刻做為盆體釉色藝術性的表現,更引申呈現出本植栽盆的專利材質讓人類可以更方便地維持與延長植物生命成長這神奇的時刻。

Houseplants have become a popular addition to our busy modern life. However, proper caring for houseplants, in particular maintaining proper soil moisture, is often more challenging than we’d hoped for. Under- or over-watering are common problems even for an attentive houseplant owner. To provide a foolproof solution, we have devised a “smart pot” which allows control release of water into the soil and literally tells the owner when the plant needs water. Basically, the pot is made of clay with hollow walls: the space between the inner and outer wall serves as a mini water reservoir. Water can be added from a sealable opening near the mouth of the pot. The porous property of the inner wall draws water from the reservoir into the soil via capillary action, which maintains an ideal moisture level. In addition, the exterior of the outer wall is glazed to prevent evaporation. Most importantly, underneath the exterior glaze, a graphic design painted with a hygrometric material can serves as an electricity-free moisture meter. The graphic disappears or changes patterns whenever the water level is low!

Functional features:


1. Storage of water in a sealed reservoir: With our smart design, we pour water “into” the pot, never directly onto the soil. As a result, a constant and proper moisture level can is achieved because the soil only draws water from the reservoir through the porous inner wall when the moisture level drops. Besides, we can greatly reduce water loss via evaporation, allowing less frequent watering.

2. Hygrometric graphic moisture meter: This unique moisture meter does not require any energy source or maintenance. It is accurate, easy to read, and highly decorative.

Artistic design:

The pot takes the form of a cloud, where rain drops forms to nurture the plants on earth. Like a cloud, our smart pot provides a relatively long term supply of water for the plants it houses. The piece is named “Magic Hour”, a cinematographic term to describe the first and the last hour of sunlight. The colors of the glaze capture the beautiful hues of the Magic Hour. We paint the words “Magic Hour” in a hygrometric material as a moisture sensor. Whenever water is replenished, “Magic Hour” reappears on the surface of the pot, implying that by providing proper care for our houseplants, we can extend the magic hour that we enjoy from our beautiful plants.
